About the Role

As a Field Service Technician II, you become part of a skilled team responsible for resolving installation issues, troubleshooting defects, and coordinating with manufacturing and engineering departments to ensure flawless aircraft seat integration.


This role is essential during the aircraft build process, especially when handling issues such as damaged parts, installation rework, cosmetic corrections, and customer support. Working under general supervision and reporting to the OSS Manager, the technician manages moderately complex technical problems while escalating more advanced challenges when necessary.





Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Support & Rework

  • Perform rework tasks and sign off on pickups identified by Air Framer teams or customers.
  • Troubleshoot faulty electronic components and replace damaged parts.
  • Adjust misaligned trim pieces or panels and support seat installation teams.

2. Quality and Communication

  • Maintain a consistently high level of workmanship.
  • Respond promptly to communications from customers and Air Framer personnel.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.







3. Compliance & Safety

  • Follow Safran and Air Framer safety procedures at all times.
  • Attend daily meetings and comply with all required training programs.
  • Submit accurate part orders and understand logistics processes (POA / SOA).

4. Coordination & Mobility

  • Cooperate daily with engineers, QA teams, technicians, and leads.
  • Drive company vehicles safely within facilities.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.




Required Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s degree in a related technical field preferred.

Experience

At least 2 years of field service experience in troubleshooting and repairs.

        - Strong mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools.
